OM: A little choppy, but a little KISSy

here's my band's cover of Rock and Roll All Nite, which was recorded at soundmix. rather choppy i think, especially the drumming at the end.

my best attempt to duplicate Gene Simmons' voice.

I'd say keep the voice natural, dont try to sound like someone, it will sound wierd Overall the song sounds alright, maybe need to make it more exciting? since its for a school performance

ya need to project ur vocals more... sounds like u're not facing direct towards the mic when you're singing.

guitar sound captures the KISS sound well... a few mistakes here and there but well.. good stuff.

1. we followed the studio version for this recording (cos i haven't learn the solo properly =X~~)

2. aw yar..i drifted away from the microphone during the main riff part cos i had to look down and see where i was playing. i agree that the vocals are crappy hahaha...

3. yup, i've been researching and playing around alot on replicating the sound of the band i worship, cos i was thinking of doing a side project from the band, a KISS tribute band? :twisted:

yea, their quality is not that bad. but its a little soft. i used Audacity (free for download from download.com) to enhance the sound.

live is $25/hr
multitrack i think about $45/hr..
