O Levels Students 2009!!

The O levels is just round the corner. 10 days left to English exams!

My science practical is this coming thursday.

Monday:english
Tuesday:Emath P1
Wednesday:Emath P2
Thursday:Amath P1
Friday:Amath P2

And the following week is all humanities and sciences. scary man. So what are your aims? L1R5/L1R4 and what poly/Jc u wanna get in?
Which subjects are you most afraid of?

Well my L1R5 aim is 12-15
L1R4 10
I wanna go poly. Temasek poly cos nearest to me:)

Subjects afraid of: Both math, history, geogprahy.

I scared whatever i study for dont come out.

I heard o levels tend to phrase a question in a way which appears tricky!

yea i know alot of ppl studying Venice.
I think Chapter 5 and 6 in sec 3 text book also must study. i studied 4,5,6 of sec 3 and terrorism and venice in sec 4.
 
i studied venice last year for nothing, haha.
but still managed to bullshit my way through the essay questions.
and i didnt even write my letter in english paper 1 and got a b3 haha
actually you have nothing to be scared about, i skipped school the hole year and still managed to get 17 for L1R4 which includes a f9 for emaths haha.

damn thats why im retaking emaths this year

well my school gave us 5 theme for ss.
but we had to study only 3.

theme 1:sec 3 chap2,3
theme 2:sec3 chap 4/5
theme 3:sec3 chap 6
:sec4 chap1
theme 4:sec4 chap2

In my opinion, if anyone here has not been studying Venice all along, i think it's better if he/she studies other topics such as bonding or deterrence & diplomacy.
Ahh, really want to get into a 10 point Jc, but my prelims were only 17 for L1R5... darn.
 
I think I will do Population, Venice, and International Terrorism.
Still afraid for my English and SS History. Must...get..off...soft....
 
my l1r5 aim is 10 though.. thinking of going jc..

lol. SS i should be mugging globalisation, govt policy and venice i think.
since these topics are the shortest hahaha.

and prelims questions should be trickier than o level's one. haha some of the TYS are really easy.. i am most afraid of humanities. haha.
 
LOL, i thought venice out of the syllabus already???

But anyway guys, just study hard,do your ten year series and it should be smooth-sailing all the way.

Wow, looking at the replies here, I'm dead as lovelovelovelove lol. I like failed everything except my emaths for prelims ( altho i didn't do most papers). Damn lazy to study, totally not motivated. :/ Got 4 points for my N's last year.

Hi, SS most important I think is diplomacy and deterance. Confirm guarantee come out. Studying 4 themes for ss. Try smoke through la. Prelims smoke through get b3.

haha. Prelims got 14. henggg ahh. Aiming for 9 pts l1r5. Got into MJC already by DSA.

hmm.. why all planning abt ss ah? haha i very scared for history man!

Scared for humanities. I hate geog. so waste of time. especially human geog. argh. SO MANY EXAMPLES!!!
 
Here are some tips for everyone taking Os this year.
1) If you haven't been working hard working hard now might not be too late, do lots of TYS, prepare yourself well mentally too.

2) I've seen alot of my friends on facebook when they're like having exams soon, STOP GOING TO FACEBOOK! :p

3) Expect the unexpected, do not expect humanities source based questions to phrase exactly like what you've been doing, got a bloody shock when I took my Full History paper

Lastly

4) Don't forget to bring your IC, entry proof or whatnot.

about the humanities part, geog is pretty straightforward. ss is the one that is very tricky.

facebook is addictive. hahaha.
 
No la! SS so much easier than geog. i mean if u compare SS to History.... SS is like... haha.

My ss is A.
Geog Fail.

Yea its common sense. but difficult to score! thats the thing.
