Number of "First electric/first guitar" posts is too damn high

Hi all,

i'm not being an ass hopefully but i really think that too many people are posting the same thread over and over again. and these people are new members with their first post.

in just one page alone i count 8 posts asking the same thing: about with a certain amount of budget which guitar should he/she get and the playability/tone etc

maybe thats important for the forum to thrive to have new posts all the time but after a while it does seem silly that these new members cant spend just 3 mins looking at the older posts to get their info while the rest of us have to post the same information and 2 cents worth again and again.

what do you guys think?
