In case you're wondering, yes HE IS IN GUITAR HEAVEN but this was recorded before his untimely death, just that the recordings were never released until now. It will be out in stores March 9 somewhere...

the record company took a little too long. I mean in all honesty as much as I like Hendrix's music, it just isn't relevant in today's context of music. I bet a whole lot of younger people will be going " Jimi what??" .

still, I'm still glad that this album would continue to rock the hearts of those who lived through that generation of music .

hmm after listening carefully, i realised i have heard SOME of them before, via bootleg recordings..this is just a remastered version i believe of all the bootleg versions- must be his step sister's doing in trying to make a profit...anyways, its still good because the bootleg versions i heard were of very bad sound quality, so this is in a way good for hendrix freaks

There's a version of red house that i listened to on a live recording some time back.
Now its made a studio version and definitely remastered.

Sounds good with the use of modern technology
