hi guys,

those amp in the market, can we adjust the volume? I want to practice at home but I dont want my house owner to complain i am too noisy.

I have an electric guitar, got it from lucky draw, brand name is Squier. now i need an amp. any cheap one to recommend? must able to adjust volume one.

thanks.

Just look for a 10-watt amplifier. It can be real soft if needed. If you got money, get a Marshall. Those are the best amps around.

My 10W amp is a Sound Drive but it can be really soft and really loud so yeah. Just look for a 10W.

There are lots of options ....from pocket size small to little hand carry types.. best with headphone out option ya.

Just take a walk to our local music shops or browse the soft buy/sell if any you fncy :D

Ahh regarding pocket sized amps, you can try Smokey amps. They're slightly larger than a cigarette box. The last time I checked, Ebenex brings them in

all amps have adjustable volumes. a decent one is the line 6 spider III 15, can be very loud, but you can also turn down the volume for it to be very soft.

You won that squier from the ol' skool of rock CD lucky draw thing right? Squier Bullet Strat.

How to check how much it worth?

The bullet strat looks like its neck is shorter... maybe its just my eyes.

I second the Sound Drive amps at Standard value. But get the better ones. Mine is the SG-10 which really rocks. Standard value also stocks up on Ibanez, Squier and Epiphone guitars, but not much variety. Most guitars there are 'Acepro' or something like that.

Kind of amazing that James Root of Slipknot and Stone Sour uses a Telecaster... but its a Fender. Looks very similar to yours, sub, because its black but the pickguard is white if I'm not wrong.

But its the dual thing... Josh Rand has a heavy-sounding Ibanez to play rhythm, and James has a Tele. But I think Teles are really good lead guitars because they give a clearer sound especially on the treble. But I could be wrong... My ears aren't always correct.

Oops, James Root's tele has a different pickguard design. Thats a third difference... Nice though, your Squier Tele, might get one of those in the future if I happen to be really adventurous.

nothing too amazing about that IMO. if one deems the Tele to be useful for a certain genre, then so be it. i have another Tele here which does well in the dark arts of Black Metal...

this Squier Tele Custom is very affordable, it lists for $500... got mine for lesser 8)
