Has anyone tried these amp yet. Looks rather interesting. Solid State AC15/30, or rather a hybrid AC15/30. Looks almost the same as the full tube counterparts.
Not much info on these amps on the net. Apparently they use a solid state pre-amp with a tube in the power amp side. So volume wise, these amps should be comparable to their full tube brothers. The AC15VR comes with a 1X12 closed back cab while the the AC30VR comes with 2X12 open back cab.
I wonder how the AC15VR will compare to the AC15CC1. Since both are around the same price. And also how it will compare against the AC4TV. I mean u can get a full tube amp for 100 bucks cheaper.
