i beg to differ.by what means are you to say that paiste cannot beat sabians?
first and foremost, you can never compare sound in an absolute manner,what sounds great to other may not sound as great to you. music is perspective.

Secondly,there is no such thing as XXX brand "beats" XXX brand.so u mean a pair of paiste signature high hats will "lose" to a sabian B8?different cymbals have different characteristics.at the point where high end cymbals are involved,its only the difference in tones,characters.
i would like to enforce this statement: there is no such thing as "which is better"

Finally,do not give such statements about cymbals with reference to your own preference.you might have offended many paiste owners/fans whom have browsed upon this thread.u are very lucky that no one has flamed you up to this point of time.

this is a gentle reminder to you and although i am a supporter of paiste,i hold no grudges against you what so ever.i just hope you learn from this experience on how to look at cymbals.
 
Frail, tats an immature, without thinking, 'jus shoot anyhow' kinda statement. Sure, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but at least back them up wif concrete and debatable facts. Not jus slurrin as and when u like. U tried Paiste yet? Or u jus basing ur 'honest-to-goodness' opine on mere usage of their low-end stuff or are u jus a fan boy? Not tryin to put u down, but at least, be more open next time, instead of having a one-track perception. I bet ur jus a student whose music school or school uses paiste 101s and the likes. And again if im wrong, well at least u got a mind of a beginning student.
 
So... according to Paiste, Twenty is ranked between 2002 and Signature... so the pricing should be competitive with the B20 cymbal specialist companies... 8)

I wonder if Ranking will bring them in here into Singapore or not (at least for us to test it mah). Must check with them tomorrow. I Hope they don't tell me - you place order for it lah - then I bring in - everytime like that I broke liao lah..

They bery clever one...I place order 1st-time for Paiste...then they will bring in an extra one piece to sell...always like that one. When I ask let me test the extra piece - they say "sell liao"...then I see see here check check there...Hahaha found it at a box inside I counted how many they brought in Kekeke.

RANKING already place the order...how many qty...I don't know yet - price they will let me know in a few days time - They say - NOT CHEAP LEY ?????

Aiyah, some from ebay, some from individuals I got to know on another forum, sent to my friend, he repacked them for me and sent to the comgateway address.

Well, I posted a pic of them in the kits thread. :)
 
Sorry, emailed massmusic sometime back but they stated tat Singapore is not within their shipping zones yet, so Vpost is way to go.

Haha okok. As for massmusic prices, go ask Myner. He already noes the secret of revealing the prices. I tink kanzer too.. :lol:
