Hi all, I'll be collecting my Baja Tele next week and have yet to decide on a case for it. Can anyone with either of the above give me a review of the advantages/disadvantages? Thanks.

I'll get the SKB, its light and tough, moulded interior is a plus too.
Although it has a weird smell that is unique to skb cases.

But I can live with that.

I'm not sure how light the SKB case is but i believe the RDM Spork is more handy and (i think) is much lighter than hardcases.

The RDM Spork also have many compartments such as the laptop sleeve.

Overall, if you are looking for a case with many advantages but still light and compact enough to carry with maximum protection, RDM Spork is the one for you.

for me.

i got a g&g hardcase to store my strat at home. making sure its protected as much as possible.

to carry around i got a rdm pro and it serves me well on da road.

well. might not be useful to u since ure looking for a all-in-one option.

i say hardcase

The SKB cases are about 2.5-3kg. Which is really light considering what it can withstand.

I have one that is 6 years old, been travelled with, thrown into trucks, SUVs , smashed on the ground and all its got are scratches.

It is a bass case and its still serving me well.

I have 3 other SKB cases for guitars.

They are much lighter than the fender deluxe hardcases, but offer equal or much better protection. The only drawback, no flap for the pockets. But no problem cause once the top closes its secure.

The RDM Spork is pretty similar to the JM Incase bag.. Its basically as tough as a hardcase, but have the convenience of softcases.. Need a review? There's a comprehensive one in RDM's thread made by SoulJah.. Go use the search button!
