O_O; fantastic! Though I thought Dargie IIs had martini inlays.. Or am I thinking of the Dargie Is?

Anyway, congrats on the killer bass~! What I wouldn't do for a H-bongo myself

Thanks guys!

It really plays great! Spent the whole night last night playing it.
Figuring out the different tones available and just practicing.

i wonder how BMW design team feel when they hear such comments.
Sure, it looks like the toilet seat.
Still, it is a great bass. :)

i love the bongo lol, i would even loving refer to it as the toilet seat, it's a nice name to joke around anyways. :)

but more important are the tones you can get out of this baby! :)

hahaha. the toilet seat jokes always come around. Try mentioning that in the EBMM forums. I think you'll get kicked into a toilet bowl after that.

But the tones from this bass is amazing.. Very versatile bass. My only regret.. not getting one with a piezo option. But than again, for this color, the 4HHp is rare.

To the guys who's interested in getting MusicMan's in future, wait for the Reflex to be realsed at NAMM in less than a week. Its based on their 25th anniversary model. And that's another tone monster by itself. Or you can check out the Big-Al as well if you love single coil kinda sounds. (:

cloud,

Peace ah, no worries, i knew what shinobi was trying to say, something like, remember to put down the bass after using it. But still, the description "toilet seat" was used by him, and i'm just making my remarks based on that.

shinobi,

Don't get me wrong.
Seriously, it does look like the toilet seat.

It was a proud design by Ball and the BMW design team.
I buy the design, and I own a Bongo4 too.
On the Bongo shape, Ball was fustrated because he doesn't want to be limited by the Stingray and Sterling shape.
The Big-AL is another good move by him.

:)

NIce! Glad to see another Bongoloid in town. Maybe in a couple of months I'm gonna jump on the Big-Al or the Reflex. (:

But the classic stingrays look very tempting. Especially the Sonic Blue one. And they have mutes one them! But they only produce the classic stingray sound heard in a lot of rock records. So not a wide array of tones on that one.
