neutrik heads? amphenol heads?

My entire board is wired up with the Lava ELC's with right angled connectors. Got them from Soundwaves MM (great guys to deal with).

Assembly is easy once you get the hang of it, definitely not as easy as the George L's though. However, the 360 degree connection and sturdier connectors make the effort worthwhile.

The profile of the right angled heads is smaller than the GL's, and this enables me to squeeze my pedals closer together. The cables also seem more durable.

Tonally, I've noticed slightly more volume and clarity, although this could just be my mind playing tricks on me to justify the $150 LOL. A definite step up from the Canare/Flatheads I was using prior to these.

All in all, the Lava's are great, and the only issue is the rather high cost.

How's the assembly like compared to George Ls? Are the jacks reusable like the George L's? I'm very close to rewiring my entire board with the ELCs they seem to be golden as far as solderless cables are concerned.

Jacks are reusable, assembly will take slightly more time that GL's at first, but you'll get the hang of it. How's the echoczar treating you? I'm kind of concerned by the lack of tap tempo. How long did you wait?

Sounds like what I need. The cables are priced reasonably enough. But the jacks are on the expensive side so being reusable is a huge plus point for me. Thanks for the heads up. :)

Echoczar and angelbaby is still in transit. Probably a couple of days, maybe even tomorrow. I've waited for 3.5 to 4 years. Well worth the wait. I'm still on the Openhaus wait list though.
