i have an ibanez GSA60, which i bought 2 years ago.
it was my first guitar.
bought a few other cheap ones which came and went.

thinking of putting a seymour duncan JB into the bridge.

should i? or should i save and upgrade to a better guitar.

also, what is the usual price of a brand new JB?

thanks softies!

well at davies they cost AT LEAST $99. haha

i dunno i'm thinkin of modifying my guitar too. change s-s-s to s-s-h. soon i think. when i've become bored of the sound. haha. i've already got the humbucker which i got from a fellow softie.

if you treasure any of your guitars, you'd be willing to fund for any upgrades but do consider used pickups.

why JB?

some comments:
*appealing midrange to those who believe in midrange-propelled single note clarity as oppossed to pumping treble

*do not expect a PAF-type cleans

PS: no, Davis sells fresh stuff, no used units.

cool. i dont like mid-scoop anyway, sounds really empty.

i prefer the fuller sound.
and pumping treble. hurts ears.

if i buy a pickup how do i put it in?

do i bring to davis?

wtf dude.you dont know the legendary master beez?its suicide from now on for you.

dang man. i don't know a lot of musical geniuses here in s'pore. i don't mod my stuff. not yet anyway. haha

damn i must be more open

that's Beez of course... i prefer his workmanship because it's top class + doesn't entail problems. should there be any, Beez would rectify it because he has a 3-month guarantee for all his work.

also, if you book an appropriate time, Beez can finish the job within minutes so you can watch him install your pickups, giving you pointers along the way.

where you can meet Beez:

hmm sounds trustworthy. haha not that i don't trust him in the first place. looking at your humbuckers make me wanna go there and check it out. how much does he charge you if he installs a humbucker for you?
