need opinion on choice of pick ups

hmm i tink usually theres no big difference whether or not u use f space for floyd rose..the diff shod b very little....anyway i haf ggotten the x2n for bridge and evo bridge for neck...changing the 3 way to a 5 way switch....haha leaving it at swee lee to be done...my dad has no confidence wif soldering and he won't let me handle the soldering -.-"

I believe the S520EX comes in a floyd rose bridge. X2n is not F-SPACED. If you install it, i dont know wat will happen man.

Man, please do your research before posting things like this. I had an X2N and it was F-Spaced.

Moreover, F-Spacing doesn't not give you drastically different tone. Main concern is cosmetics.

it doesn't matter if X2n is f-spaced or not. the design is not 6 * 2 pole piece, it's 2 long pole pieces, as u can view from the dimarzio website.

yes. humbuckers sound like humbuckers. Hot rails sound closer to humbucker but not the actual sound. They also dun sound like single coils

i've been using the Hot Rails since Y2K & it's full humbucking albeit the single coil size. it's not a single coil & it shouldn't sound like one.
