I have a problem with my blackstar HT-5! At first it sounded really good , but about 2 months later the sound sort of degraded like it got really blur , not clear at all, like very muffled , i chose to ignore it but it got worst as time flew by. Could it be i need to change the tubes? Or can anyone help me repair my amp? i'll pay a resonable price.

PS: i bought this amp 2nd hand and the amp is about a year old , i doubt it was the previous owner's fault because i have this amp for about 4 months now and the problem only started after 2 months when i bought the thing , i also moved it around alot , could it be one of the parts are lose? idk but i need halp and i don't want to lose this amp , really good amp!

sounds like it's your tube
haha speaking of which it's also almost time i get my ht-5 tubes changed haha it's been more thn a year too

are there any effects in your loop or are u using active pickups?

maybe it could be something else in your signal chain going wrong?

it basically means whats going from your guitar to your amp.

i think u could try swapping tubes then, theres a good tube shop at burlington square called martin electronics. u can check what tube swaps are good for your amp by checking out ht-5 discussion threads online :D should set u back about 20-50 dollars per tube, depending on what tube u get
