need help troubleshooting audio interface/amp

my signal chain goes something like this, guitar>pedalboard>amp (tech21 trademark 30 w/xlr output jack)>XLR out to m audio mobilepre usb>computer.

i am unable to get a signal into the computer even though there is sound from the amp. i contacted tech21's technical support and they suggested that my audio interface could be faulty. i am not sure about this as i am still able to get sound plugging in headphones into the m audio's headphone jack. all help with trouibleshooting my problem is greatly appreciated!

What software are you using to record your guitar? Have you checked if the correct input channel has been selected on the software?
