Need help on choosing tube amp!!!

Technically speaking, AC15 is a specification, while the models can differ depending on the series. I had an AC15H1TV, which was the Heritage Collection AC15. That was one LOUD amp.

all right i c!!!
Thinking its too loud for HDBhaha

The AC15C1 "variant" of the AC15, some design and parts changes I think. I personally owned a AC15C1 and I think its a fantastic amp, abit heavy though.

Yeah man got to try that out! You tried a vox lil night train b4?

Not sure about the price if the Class 5, but you can try giving Davis Guitar a call since they're the official distributor here.

all right man thanks! got to go down there some day!

Haven't tried a night train b4, so I can't comment. But I would think it would give you a classic vox chime nonetheless.

I did consider buying the lil night train too, but I chose the AC15 in the end because I felt it was easier to lug a combo(though not that its much easier due to the weight) around than a head&cab. The output of the ac was also closer to what I needed. But best is to go and test out the amps you've shortlisted before you buy it.

Ok i c! But the lil night train is quite small right? Should be quite easy to carry IMO

It is small, but the complication comes from the fact that there are the separate head and cab units. A combo amp is more convenient in the sense that it only takes(hopefully) one hand to transport it.

Yup quite true actually.. I got to take into consideration of the portability when im moving house haha!
So if i am looking for the fender-like clean tone, I go for the VHT right?

There are different flavours of "Fender cleans"; There's Tweed, Blackface, Brownface, Silverface, etc. The Special 6's base tone is very much in the Blackface territory to my ears.
