need help - iron cobra pedals

Hi all... posting this to assist my fren. one of this double pedal broke... it's Tama's Iron Cobra... anyone knows where to get it repaired / welded?

How the heck did you manage to do that ? Did an elephant stamp on it ?

Sorry to inform you that cast alloy is alomost impossible to weld - you are better off scrapping the pedal and getting a new one.

whoa bro, your friend threw this at a speeding bus which refused to stop for him at a bus stop ah? i thought it was just some worn off part but when i saw the word "welded".. ok i have no idea where to get it done, but i am sure it can be done. maybe not weld the metal back to back but at least weld it with the help of another type of metal in-between.

my fren was actually finished with his sound check.. as they finished dismantling their equipments, he put his double pedal near the side stage... unfortunately, the huge huge side stage speakers fell directly on top of his pedal... too bad, so sad for him...

Hi.. Just like to update and share, in case any softies comes across this problem...

I did Argon Welding on the pedal.. Doesn't exactly look nice.. but hey, as long as its fixed, nobody's complaining...

anyway, testing tonight.. practicing for 4 hours... will update here if the welding on the pedal gives way..

anyway, just like to share...

the pedal took some 4 hours of Heavy Metal sh*t & abuse on Sat nite... and its still good to go... no cracks or nothing like that... feels solid...

So, drummers... should ur pedals crack like this, dont buy a new one just yet... try to hv it welded first... Rokk Onzzz....!!! \m/ \m/
