Need Help In My Guitar.. Ibanez...

Hi softies...
im using a humble Ibanez...
but i want to make it a killer humble ibanez....
im want to change the pick up....
its a S-S-H....
so.. can anyone recommend me which pick up shud i change?
i am in a band playiong hard rock, metal, alternative rock...
guitar instrumental with inspirations of sounds like satriani ,vai, gilbert, santana and malmsteen..
i want it to sound clean and when i shred.. the sound is a killer...
so which pick up shud i get..
there's so many types...

u should consider wad amp do u have first , then wad wood is used for u're guitar , then pickups .

make the most out of your stock pickups first before changing to another one. you want killer pickups but you need killer pedals first. try getting some high-gain dist and if you already have, just enjoy what your playing!

however if you really decide to change i'd recommend dimarzio if you want those heavy metal sound.

im using an marshall amp...
and a toneworks 1500 for my effects...
and the neck is Rosewood....

save up more for a better guitar.....the pups upgrades are going to cost more than the guitar....and it'll be difficult to sell it off.....

just for home use is Marshall G10 MkII with just Gain Control & Volume..

amp contribute 80 percent of your tone than pickup, invest in a good amp

Amp does contribute most of your tone....But, you want be able to carry your amp to gigs....invest in a good guitar and good pedals

ur effects is good. ur guitar is fine, even with the current stock pickups. but i think u need to upgrade ur amp. get a line6, roland cube or vox modelling amp. of these 3 i'm most impressed with the vox but go try them out for urself and see what u prefer best. these days is really the golden era of amps, cos of modelling technology. u get good tone for cheap.

thank god swee lee is not carrying vox stuff, it not u can expect to pay more. u can get from citymusic. price $300+ if i'm not mistaken.

citymusic... do agree tat u need a better amp.... and like reez said... its better to buy a new guitar.... if u change all 3 of the pickup.. just add on abit u could buy a rgr321... or maybe a 2nd hand rg... the stock on those are enough u to last until u get sick of the tone... ....
