need expert help to identify scale!

okay this is nothing expert.. rather intemediate, but i need help help nonetheless!

i love the andy timmons style phrasing here (before 0.25), sounds close to what richie kotzen does sometimes..

but what scale is this?? or rather what scale does AT and richie kotzen like to use? pentatonics extended with something i dont know.

The song sounds like minor key progression. You could try minor pentatonic (Blues), Aeolian (minor scale) or Dorian scale.
Also try inserting chromatic passing notes. AT and Kotzen uses this sometimes. Good luck!
