Hi Guys,
need some experienced comments here. I have moved to single pedals recently after so many years of using mfx.

I've found a drive pedal and a booster that suit me. but I havent found modular pedal that i like yet. So, at the meant time. I'm planning to buy a beta aivin mfx

to fulfill my needs of delay, flange and reverb.

My question is, is this pedal good enough??

Beta Aivin

In single compact pedal league compare to MFX, one really need to understand what kind of sound/music they are into and which suits ur ears/band and of course budget wise.

The best thing to do is to read reviews first before spending ur $$$. Then u should try shops like Blackwood, Guitar 77, TYMC or those places that lets u demo/try the pedal.

Simple guideline to plan ur sound route as follow:
Volume>Wah>Compressor>Overdrive>Distortion>Modulation>NoiseGate>Delay>Reverb (this arrangement could be chained up to as many as u like but try to get true bypass else u need microamp in between those pedals)

You could build ur dream sound to your band/ear likings and it depends a lot on how deep the pocket is.

Wishing u luck in finding ur true sound.

Thank you for ur input Bro Jutawan. But actually I'm only asking opinion of the aforementioned pedal(beta aivin me-100)

I know almost exactly the type of sound that I'm looking for. I'm always influenced by Paul Gilbert and Zakk Wylde. But then, because of budget constrain, i cant buy all pedals in one shot. Planning to buy/explore bit by bit.

So, I just want to know whether the beta aivin can be a temporary option before i found the "right" delay, reverb and flange pedal. I couldn't find any review on it online

hi bro, i cant really testify for the quality of that specific pedal, but owning and using some of them, i can say that they are well value for money. since you mentioned that this will be a temporary thing, i'd say there'll be no harm trying. go ahead and try it out at standard value.

Hmm interesting PG and ZW

for ZW, perhaps u might wanna check out ZW jim dunlop range signature pedal stuffs.

not sure which pedals PG use, but i know he uses PGM Ibanez guitars lol.

ME-100 just temporary shud be ok, but remember no point buying pedals which u might end up selling it back. Go and check out the pedal at Standard Value in Marsiling look for Mike, he wud be happy to assist u. he cud also recommend good pedals within all means from low to high.

IMO for a save bet, go get the distortion and delay to your likings, then work outwards toward modulations, wah and reverb.

Enjoy, for the search is on, to finding your true sound .......

I recommend Beta Aivin pedals, but I have no experience with this particular pedal. You might want to pay Mike a visit and try it out in person. He's very friendly and knowledgeable.
