hello everyone,

i am looking to buy a metronome too, did a search in the forums for past recommendations

came out with a few choices like:

boss DB series
tama rhythm watch

I am looking for one that has repectable and adjustable stereo volume when plug in headphones to it.. doesnt need to have other niffty functions but if preset is available it will be good.. will be using to with headphones when jamming and practising for better time keeping..

Budget around 80 dollars? thanks!

I would recommend the Tama watch because I have it.. but Swee Lee sells it for I think 250, perhaps cheaper now if there's a sale. I'm not too sure about DB, but the DB-30 I had would be in your budget. It has a volume adjust but the sound is too weak to be heard over rest of the band that's for sure. For home practise I think still can.

thanks drumsolo86 =)

the rhythm watch is indeed kinda over my budget.. i just need something simple which mostly imptly can have stereo adjustable volume..

anyone knows is the DB series (30, 60, 90) differs in their volume when plug in headphones/earphones?

Definitely the Doctor Beats.

Definitely use the Doctor Beat. A lot of professional full time musicians/instructors in the studios of Hollywood use the DBs because it's one of the loudest and most versatile.
I use the DB-60, but if u can afford, definitely get the DB-90. It's one loud SOB.
But you really need something loud and piercing when you are practicing.
Yes you can use headphones as well. But you don't want to always use headphones
when practicing. You need to hear your kit as well, and the DBs have a good volume.
It also has a very wide range of time signatures u can play around with and challenge yourself.
