Hi, am new here....
Just wanna know if you guys DIY yr neck rest or buy from Peninsula. I find it quite useful but not sure which shop selss them.
Any DIY ideas?
By the way, just a short intro.
Am reviving my interest in guitar after laying off for close to 40years. Yup, my 1st guitar was a used acoustic Yamaha entry-level guitar when I was 13 but abandoned it after 4 mths as we were financially strapped.
Now that I'm almost 1 leg in the bucket, with kids in their late teens and some time for myself, I’ve decided to revive this interest starting from scratch on my own at my "own time; own target".
I went shopping and got myself a Gretsch 5122DC to try replicating the sounds from the 50s and 60s on the cheap. Yeah, Luther Perkins (Johnny Cash & the Tennesse Three)!!
Anyway, cut a long story short...I bought GFS Pups (Surf 90s), Compton Bridge, Vox DA15 amp and hardware-wise, good to go, no? Er, problem is I need someone to install for me since I’m not a DIY guy. No worries though. I will continue with the steep learning curve and install it when the time comes.
