hi everyone.

was wondering how you guys solve the problem of neck dive? as in when you stand up playing, the neck goes down and you need to constantly hold it up to play? my ibanez xiphos has that problem. i asked some people on youtube who have the same guitar, one said he reposition the strap pins to another place, another said he just uses a good alotoffriction leather strap. what say u guys?

Sell it off and get a more balanced guitar :D

half joking but it happened to me...I sold off my SG standard because the neck heavy issue really bothers me...

Leather strap does help...But leather strap tend to stick to jacket/shirt when playing and obstruct standing guitar action...haha

Gibson's SGs are known for its neckdiving issue..

wear ur strap closer to your neck.

A GOOD leather strap. I'm currently using the Epiphone Leather Strap, it's not that magnificient but it does the job. You might wanna consider investing in a more 'powerful' or durable leather strap than the Epiphone one though. I'm playing a G400 in case you're wondering and I'm dealing with this "pain in the neck" issue.
