Ruben has already applied a clear varnish coat so it pretty safe.

What I'm doing is adding clear pick guards for the top & bottom horn areas - custom cut of course.

It was a finished guitar BROWNISH WOODFINISH SG.

He sprayed the top face white as a "canvas" for his masterpiece.

For me I feel the clear pickguards I'm having on top / bottom horn areas will suffice to protect against stratches.

Only the top area that features the art is sprayed white before tha actual process. The rest were masked before spraying and are as normal.

As for $$$ - U gotta nego with him bro ...

this is the org pickguard - Im doing a reversal for 2nd piece to fit top & bottom horns - in clear acrylic
