My new 'cari makan' strat

here's my new custom built (from various parts canibalized from my other guitars) strat which I will use for mainly club dates ...

My specs are:

Neck
All parts 1 piece all maple vintage finished neck. 22 jumbo frets with abalone decal inlay vine design. Tuners are staggered Klusons (no string tree s needed) which are the trademark of the Eric Johnson Strat. Note the bootleg Fender decal as well as the Nemo inlay.

Body
Taken from an 80s Korean Squier - made of maple - its rather heavy - a bit too heavy for my liking but it has a nice clear tone & good sustain.

Pickguard assembly
3 WD pick ups ( similar to Texas special tone), 1 vol, 2 tone pots by ernie ball. 5 way Selector bought at SV music - good strat copy selector. All items on the pickguard assembly are in chrome. Chrome pickguard bought from Dan Music in Peninsula.

Misc
Jim Dunlop strap locks, all parts jacks, jack cups, screws. Wilkinson Strat Bridge with pop in trem arm

Road tested it and it sounds AWESOME!

Nice looking strat. You don't see many maple bodies around. I can imagine the heft, but is it rather bright sounding?

Subs: orange caps

Scan; my mistake, I meant to say alder. Sounds like a souped up Strat
