My fret has a ding. need help

I've recently, discovered a ding on the 11th fret, it creates a disgusting "clink" when ever i bend on that string... how guys?.... its super irritating... can try filing my fret? will it help? or die liao, must change all the frets?... hahaha

for a more safer way, bring to geetar tech(quite a few mentioned round here, do a search on it shud be able to get their info and supporters recommendation), let them evalute and see if anything can be done on it.

for a more reckless way, which might work or destroy the balance, using a file on it, also can. Just randomly get any files from diy shops and try. Smaller the file, better to handle. do keep it mind if choosing this method, anything wrong, no one shall be responsibility for it other than yourself and in the end, still have to go trouble geetar tech to remedy the problem which could have been much easier to solve in the first place, before the diy filing

Check all your other frets, might be fret wear, that means a 200 dollar refret job.

dun scare people lah, everything is a case by case basis and depend on the condition of the frewire problem whether can fret dressing be done instead of refretting

Yea, just be sure to check all the other frets as well, fret dressing is much cheaper than refretting... just make sure you take it to a qualified guitar tech

anyway, checked the rest of the frets... the wear is not so bad.... still can maybe last me a few more years( unless i shred the shit out of her everyday... haha) so yea, its just 1 fret that has this prob...

aside from that ding, the 20th to 24th frets has a lil rust at the corner edges... u guys get that?, possible to remove?

for short, fret dress for leveling of frets using special files without changing the fret wire.

for more detailed one, just google for it, shud be able to find lotsa info on it.

for rust and stuff, best to consult geetar tech and check with them on removing it.

lotsa thigns can be done, i suggest looking for reputable geetar tech, check with them on what you plan to do and see what they can do(quite a few often mentioned in here, do a search if you wanna)
