What a surprise to meet the man himself today at orchard.Managed to chat with him for awhile.He might try to squeeze singapore for next year tour schedule.Keeping my fingers cross that it'll happen after the last cancellation due to sars where he was apologetic about.Super star struck by his presence :D manage to get his autograph.Here's the pic just to share.... :D MERRY XMAS GUYS!

Amazing story man!

Congrats on meeting the man himself. I believe his wife is Singaporean, and he recently did a G3 tour in Australia..which would probably explain his appearance in Singapore.

he did mention he's here on family matters for a few days & he did mentioned his wife a singaporean.Lucky me to have bump into him.He was with his son so didn't want to disturb them so long.Wished i had brought my guitar for him to sign but then again minus being mobbed by other crazy fans wanting his attention in other scenario,at least manage to talk to him without distraction which is PRICELESS la... :D :D

his shades was the one that gave him away...OAKLEY... :D

Could happen to anyone too dude...guess never to discount our city to bring you surprises. :D when vai played in singapore,met tony mcalpine at suntec tower records 30 mins before the show started.He was with the drummer jeremy colson.Gotten his autographs too.Amazing how you can bump into them. :D

i was walking down orchard road a few days ago and i saw a bald dude and i was like, eh that fella looks like joe. and i thought it was a coincidence. i had no idea he was here in SG!
 
it could been him dude...i did a double take when i saw him haha but went to asked him anyway & turned out to be true. :D :D
 
if he came with escorts, it would be inviting more attention i guess which i tink he doesn't want.Anyways he was out with his son. :D
