my attempt at bass slapping

i see you're mainly a thumbs down fella .. good job on the slapping ... keep practicing you'll get the hang of it .. =)

here's a short clip on a slap idea i was working on a while back and only managed to manifest it lately during a final year project.

was used for backing track in one of the videos in my project

featuring my Yamaha BBN5A loaded with original Yamaha pickups and Seymour Duncan 3-tone circuit preamp with slap switch on and ZOOM RT-223 drum machine. =)

I've been trying to slap on my TGM bass. I tried slapping on a fender jazz bass with the help of another bassist with me and i managed to do it but not on my bass, any idea why? Is it because of my skill or just my bass?
