hey guys...im quite confused here...should i go for fender jazz MIJ 5 string or musicman stingray5? i know that fender will definitely be cheaper,but i am curious bout that stingray legendary sound,give me some advice dudes...

1 more question,do davis bring in stingray5? is it cheaper than sinamex?and how long does it take to bring the bass in?

Both basses are polar opposites of each other...Yes davis carries Musicman basses...They also have OLP basses, and recently Tony Levin did a Signature bass with them.

no price quotations out, so not sure if it's gonna be cheaper than what other distributor listed it for. you should consider Music Man's SUB bass also, which is offered as a 5-string version. this bass has essential Music Man tones to it which should appeal to Stingray fans & should list for about $1,400- more affordable than the Stingray 8)

stingrays are supposed to be in this week or the next.

price is 2300 for SR4

for SR 5 its 2500

if u bring in from US its about 1900 before shipping and GST . after bringing it , is compartively the same price or maybe about 100-200 sgd cheaper.

I personally would take a Jazz, but take your time to test them out, they are completely different animals. 8)

btw...how long does it take to ship in musicman for davis case? 1 month or depend on the order?
