musicman axis or olp mm1

should i save up to get a supersports axis (currently have 1k) or should i get a olp mm1 first and save for a supersport axis afterwards? i have other guitars around, so i am urgently in need to get a guitar, but kinda gian a axis. I am afraid i might hate the axis after i bought it, so having a mm1 might be safer but again i cant judge a axis by having mm1. Sinamex doesnt have stock for axis isnt it?

any axis owner here? can pm me your msn? got some question rather hard to ask here

well since u mentioned u already have other guitars i dont see why u should get an olp mm1 den go for a musicman ss axis. id say just go directly for the musicman ss axis, it will cost more in the long run to inch ur way towards a good guitar when u might as well get it and be done with.

that would be a no-brainer for me, go for the axis if you can wait.... why can't you wait? Can loan a friend's guitar in the mean time?

But of course, if you played the Axis and thought the OLP one sounds/feels better then....

if I've not mistaken, Swee Lee Sims Drive has a few axis models at the back of the store. maybe you could try one out?

man, I wonder who bought the Peavey EVH...

You wont be wrong with Ernie Ball Musicman Guitars. the built is of top-notch quality. Although i dont own an Axis, but i own the JP sig guitar. I've only tried it for like 5mins when Guitar Connection is selling a used 1, & the next day, i went straight to Sinamex to order it.

Forget the ones in Swee Lee Sims Drive. They're in really bad shape.
