i like...well... ballads =X

i like classical, rock and metal, and most of the stuff in between, but...i don't really dig pop stuff.

and...i actually liked the 'carwash' song, and the 'dont cha wish your girlfriend song....=X

how old are you? haha.. i cannot understand the youth's obsession with punk or those sub-genre now. it's most probably a case of original punk's slow demise. ( i read up quite much about punk and their origin )

anyway, altho i'm primarily a alt-indie rock man, i love malice mizer totally.(go figure if you're clueless). they do play some songs that'll make your hair stand - they're a "LIKE" them or "HATE" them band.

I love the old japanese drama soundtracks like
forbbiden love,
yesterday & today
theme song for "under one roof 2" ( not the tan ah teck one ... the jap one)

Somewhere out there -An American Tale
Part of your world/Under the sea -Little Mermaid
Can you feel the love tonight/Be prepared -Lion King
Beauty and the Beast -Duh.

I wouldn't exactly say that I'm afraid to admit this but it just doesn't seem like the stuff I would hear compared to my "usual stuff" and people would normally exclaim "what? you listen to them?!". So yeah, here's my two-cents worth:

I think Dashboard Confessional is a really great band. Really tight rhythm section especially the drummer, Mike Marsh. I think he's one of the best of our time (listen to "Again I go unnoticed" on the Unplugged album!). And while many would diss the frontman Chris Carrabba as whiny, I beg to differ. I think he writes unbelivably deep, complex and beautiful romanticised lyrics that most of us wish we could. Also, as a believer of music as a force to unite and evoke emotion, I think he does it the former the best. He seems to have this unique gift to prompt his audience to sing along automatically in unison as if in a campfire.

Also love Frou Frou. When I listened to Details, I couldn't believe that it was the work of just two people. Imogen Heap had such a unique (though at some points digitally altered) voice and she and Guy Siegsworth were able to generate such a vivid soundscape. Really put me in a chill mood when I was mugging for my O levels back then.

Jason Mraz Is great too. Super catchy songs with pretty deep lyrics too. I went to his concert last year. Quite a character. What amazed me the most was just him and his percussionist Toca Rivera were able to produce such a full sound and harmonize flawlessly. Amazing stuff.

britney spearssssssssss, tht video where she had them bunny ears and austinpowers did a cameo. damn tht was a hot groove man, freaking hot groove.

Am i a fag?

Damn..

M J is king.
I love tunes from justin timberlake.
BSB is still great.
Daniel Beddingfield rocks.
Nelly furtado's first album is WICKED.
Damien rice is Tasty.
Kylie Minogue is HOT! (ooh i dig some of the special effects in her songs.)
Feist is refreshing.

You know sometimes we just need to listen to something new and different. No harm right?! Music is music. Its nice or not. Lets not listen according to coolness.

i like james blunt and a twee bit of hip hop. Hahaha. Just a few only... Now excuse me while i hide in my bedroom for 10 years.
