Dunno if any SOFTies here have heard of or are fans of Muse, but here are some videos anyway!

I have never heard their stuff, but Mike Portnoy names their last album as his fave of 2005, so they must be great.
 
I think we have a preeeeeetty darn HUGE muse fanbase wandering around here. :lol:

Frankly I think they hit their best at Origin Of Symmetry. Abolution was horrid save for a few songs.
 
Haha I thought Absolution was good.......... :lol:

I liked Origin of Symmetry too though, favourite track was Bliss
 
Origin of Symmetry is the only album i got from them...its pretty cool...

DT's Never Enough sounds very muse-ish to me......
 
i'll try to upload few of the muse vids i have too (if ther's request)

am a big fan of alternative rock, so you can imagine how much i love MUSE. :D

they play decent music as a 3-piece band, really! :wink:
 
MUSE ROCKS! Matt Bellamy rocks... haha check out his sig maton guitar.. tape on effects onto his guitar and a touch sensor wah i heard.. haha
 
My friend sent me a few of their songs, before that, I didnt even know who they were!

OMG , last time i remember i was in this studio near clark quay for a jamming session, i was early, i went into the jamming room took one of the bass played the intro from time is running out(i'm not a bassist). Then the owner came into the room, and told me, he got a full length muse concert on his computer, then he asked if i want him to burn it for me..

What a nice chap, the concert was titled hullaboo if i'm not wrong. Used to be a big fan of muse, had quite alot of their live tracks and some of the bootlegs of their new songs.. not so much into muse now. But i still listen to them once in a while.

his singing can be quite... irritating sometimes...
 
ive only heard a few muse songs, but i like them a bit. very dramatic music.. songs like muscle museum, new born etc... i really like them.
also very emotional voice. but sometimes i find his really heavy BREATHING a bit... well... :eek: haha...
but aside from that, they are very nice.
 
haha yes, Matt's singing is a bit of an acquired taste.....

I noticed that they refuse to use traditional mic stands and have multi-jointed stands instead, and Matt sometimes uses 2 mikes instead of just 1.... Anyone know the reason why?
 
i dont have a problem with his singing. =\ i think its pretty unique and haaaawwwwwt. *fans self* lol. but yeh, as usual, diff people have diff tastes. =)

hey mero, why not mail the band and ask them? lol. (so free like that)
 
the different mike stand to cater to his effect switcher/pedal board in front of him...

the 2 mikes, one for effected vocal, the other one clean.....
