muse

Come on. We aren't here to bash one another's fave band. To each his own alright?

Both bands have their own style. This Muse VS Radiohead thing has got to stop. Seriously.

oh, thats wad i read online also, few reviews from fans said absolution n origin of symmetery are their best, i saw their live video, realli nice man, however, i jus keep havin the impression that they are kind of a 'lower budget' version of radiohead.

Man dont compare muse to radiohead! :smt011

altho i'm not a big fan of either bands, i don't see anything to compare muse and radiohead :?

Yeah XY pad from the Kaoss Pad II if i'm not wrong. Matt is so full of ideas for his customised Mansons. And yeah, the reason why i love Muse is cuz of their live act, hard to find bands that can sound so massive, and they're 3 piece.
totally agree, i think they realli outdone what i thought a 3 piece band is capable of, anyway thanks for all the advice on what to listen first and all. thanks

My dear brother, you need to listen to more music!!!

aight aight!! sorry!! was just voicing my thoughts...sorry if i offended anyone or any fans k? *peace*

^ gotta agree with that!

but Knights of Cydonia (or something) really sounds like their older stuff

And even so, i feel that they're over-producing that song. I prefer Muse of old, where they stick to hard-hitting riffs but driven with a tasteful tinge of electric accent. But i guess they're evolving their sound.

Though they're following up with the steps that is vaguely reminiscent of Radiohead... Hmmm...

i donno abt the step flang but according to some dude on muselive, he used auto riff on his GT6 and after messing abt for 2 hrs he got a similar effect. Hope that helps.
