oh, thats wad i read online also, few reviews from fans said absolution n origin of symmetery are their best, i saw their live video, realli nice man, however, i jus keep havin the impression that they are kind of a 'lower budget' version of radiohead.

No way are they Radiohead dude. That's just lazy journalism, as said in their biography book :) . which i totally agree. What's with Thom Yorke going solo anyway  They(MUSE) have recently been voted by NME readers as champs of festivals, due to their recent reading gig. WHOO READING!

ANYWAY on topic, u should have a listen at Absolution first, then Black Holes And Revelations, then Origin Of Symmetry then Showbiz. They're all in their own worlds. This is my opinion anyway. Hope u turn into a passionate fan haha :D

plug in baby and stockholme syndrome have all made it as contenders for like Top Guitar Riff of our times in various magazines.. and i would agree!
apart from Bellemy's whinesome falsettos (still tryna get my head around it), but their music is phenomenal! all top musicians in their own right!

I kinda agree...I gave it a shot...I borrowed it all and listened to it all...not at one time ok...and while I admit there is some interesting stuff going on...give me Radiohead anyday 8)

hmm i think both bands are very good in their own styles. Muse sounds very different from present-day Radiohead anyway.

go to youtube...and type supermassive free gig...and u will see y muse r being voted as best live act...hahaha

Yeah XY pad from the Kaoss Pad II if i'm not wrong. Matt is so full of ideas for his customised Mansons. And yeah, the reason why i love Muse is cuz of their live act, hard to find bands that can sound so massive, and they're 3 piece.

totally agree, i think they realli outdone what i thought a 3 piece band is capable of, anyway thanks for all the advice on what to listen first and all. thanks

Radiohead = boring bunch of cokeheads...just my opinion

Muse = more active triplet of cokeheads...

Muse > Radiohead

the sound of Muse is just different from anything that Brit/Europe can churn out...Radiohead can be imitated by any boring brit on a boring day...

I so wanna see matt jump around like a madman like in the Hullabaloo DVD. But he seems to have quietened down since the start of BH&R tour. Hope they do drop by next year! :)

Please lah, Muse better than Radiohead?
What songs have you listened to? Let me guess, Creep and High and Dry.
Dont run your mouth off on bands you dont listen to please.

Back to topic on muse, Muse is a really good band, you should get Origin of Symmetry or Absolution first, I honestly feel that their new album is a load of shit compared to their older stuff and it will "mislead" you on how Muse is really like(or was at least).
