Munetaka Higuchi of Loudness, R.I.P

I hardly can remember any Loudness song now, but it is one of my favorite band back in 90s. My favorite is "Find a Way" from Best of Ballads album.

RiP Munetaka Higuchi.

this is so sad. sigh, he is still very young. just 49. probably drank all his life.

munetaka higuchi was one of my first drum heroes. i could relate to him in a way i didn't quite could with john bonham, even though he was obviously a huge led bonham-influenced drummer.

may you rock the heavens. i will always remember you.

Loudness was the reason I was so into music....
I remembered watching them for the 1st time, and Munetaka was mesmerising.. together with Akira,Masayoshi and Minoru.

Your thunder with LOUDNESS will always be remembered for many years to come.

I think LOUDNESS will be playing a gig with Kozo Suganuma on drums soon. It will be a fitting tribute to the man who rocked with the band for decades.

R.I.P Higuchi Munetaka... Will be missed by all LOUDNESS fans & those whom know him... a true Japanese hard rock/heavy metal drummer... gone too soon... domo arigatou gozaimashita for those 31 years of great music... may your drum legacy lives on!
