Alamak, well long story short. I got back my multiguitar effects (ala korg ax3000g) and tried my bass through it. I like the fact that i can get really funky sounds out of it and the dist aint that bad but eats some low end. And i feel, since the weird stuff and cabs sound decent. I suddenly have raging GAS for a good bass multi-effects. Save moolah in the long run, not needing to buy a ring mod or auto wah...etc. And can experiment alot lah.

So its basically down to these 3:

-Korg ax3000gB (reviews aint that bad, i sort of like the guitar version)
-Bass gt-6B
-Pod xt live Bass

To current users, let me know how they fair. Id rather hear it from you guys than online reviews!

don't rule out the Zoom B2.1u as well.

96kHz sampling rate + 24-bit. 8ms patch change (fast), with USB out and CuBase software for recording on your PC. USB cable can be a power source for the unit as well, other than DC and battery.

and I am very impressed with the built-in tuner as well.... tracks very very fast, much faster than the Korg DT-10 tuner.
 
i considered the bass pod xt live, until madwerewolfboy enlightened me about the existence of the zoom b2.1u. for me, the zoom is extremely value for money, and gives me what i need for one-third the price of the pod. i'm really satisfied with it and am having a great time! i also love the fact that it's very portable, compared to the gt-6b and the pod.

bRo, i m using gt6b. So did Wendy. She uses GT6B too. Well, reasonablely one of best multi out there. Just weight another 5kg to jam. lol
 
Im looking for smtg with good tweaking capabilities lah. For the weird sounding effects and drive as well. Ive been checking out the X3 as well. It has some good improvements over the pod. But it the boss gt-6b sounds good and has the potential to allow me to the the sound i want i would rather save moolah and get that. Hey jacky, does the gt-6b have xlr out?

Yes, direct out (R), mono out(L). and midi in/out also. R/L out, digital out, Phones out.
I think everthing is there.
 
haha bro shinobi, dont worry! i want a multi for the sake of getting more sounds (weird weird effects) but still keeping my pedals lah ; )
