Hi, Newbie here. Still trying with pedals.

Would like to ask around what multi effects to buy if i would like to have the guitar mimic the sound of violin and also play it with heavy distortion ?

Else if its analogue, wats the pedal that can mimic the violin sound .

Thanks.

1) Roland guitar synth- Will get real violin sound that sound a bit fake

2) The volume knob on your guitar and the technique of doing volume swell while picking notes, ala engvay "slow and fast look the same" malmsteen

I think what u are looking for is the Boss Slow Gear which is discontinued. Another alternatives are BYOC Slow Sproket or get a vol pedal which im using. U can have better control over the vol swell unless if you are using a Fender, you can use your picky to control the vol knob

you need volume pedal and adequate practice.

Try this first. Cheap (free? since you probably have an electric guitar already) and works.
