Cliff Burton.
I always like the way he played his bass.
Its a pity that he died at a young age (24 years old). Sometimes i would imagine how's metallica gonna be if he's still alive.

Yes, one of the legendary bassist now.
I also learn to respect bass more because of him.

He has influenced so many.
Hetfield wears Cliff's skull ring whenever he performs.
And at the beginning of Jason's tenure as Cliff's replacement, you'd notice that Metallica's bass-lines are almost non-existent, buried deep. Evidently, there were trying to convey to Jason that he will never truly replace Cliff.

Or so I read.
