MOTIF XS prices for potential buyers

I'm a stickler for details so here goes.

I instantly verified with yamaha plaza singapura and tampines and here are the results

Retail price

XS8 - 4891

XS7 - 4178

XS6 - 3566

All after GST and BEFORE PREVAILING DISCOUNT (SALE PERIOD, YMC card holder 10% OFF, YMS student 13% OFF )

This is in sync with what I mentioned earlier. I know people there and this is first hand information. So for RAMMY or anyone interested in getting one, these are the prices as of 1200pm 31 August 2007

I hope this helps potential buyers to make informed purchasing decisions.

In any case, do spend a bit of time with the M3. Based on first impressions, I really thought it was more radical and fun. IMHO

okay the price if you use YMC to purchase. (YMC is actually free and open to public )

xs7 - lies btw 3200 to 4400 so maybe 3700?
xs6 - 3200

if you use the YMC which is basically why not luh? unless you too much cash to spare...

includes GST.

OK. Zenguan, the price you quoted are exactly 10% off Jazzfish's prices. And Jazzfish did say that his price is before discount (ie retail). So you are both right.

And yes, YMC is free. That means if one buys a keyboard, he automatically gets 10% off + a membership card.
 
hey anyone tried to bring the keyboard back home yourself? i had quite a nasty and bad time time pulling my maudio prokey along
 
the XS7 is lighter than the ES7.. but even so with a gigbag its still unwieldy but what do u expect of a keyboard that size and weight.

the XS8 is about the same weight as the ES8. these 88 keys are not a joke ha ha.. better straighten your lower back and use moreof your knees. I prefer doing lead vocas. Just bring my mic and sing.

Aspiring keyboardist checklist
1. have enough money to buy equipment
2. have enough determination to learn and practice
3. have enough muscle to pick up and handle the instrument weight
4. HAVE A CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i dun have a car ... and i'm crying everytime i go and bring keyboard around ... resulting in whole body aching the next day ... mwahahaha

Keyboardist should demand a MIDI controller in the practice studio
and he shall only bring his rack of modules.

No end to wishing. I'm wishing for an extra room in the house to setup my equipment. :D
