hey you can check this store at peninsular 3rd floor..the corner end..they sell the whole fretboard with the inlay already in it..why not u chaeck it out..last time i saw it costed 80 buck sumthing like that for the vine inlay pattern..
Prae's right about the delicate operation. Say if you got an entire fingerboardboard replacement, the measurements got to be right, plus, you'd have to pry out your own fingerboard, potentially disastrous if done without the proper tools and experience.
haha why not u paint the fret board instead..i have friends who try making the sharktooth inlay effect by painting on their maple glossy fretboards..then they add clear nail polist on it..looks good but nothing like how pearls look like..
Ball park figure, S$1,500. I'm not kidding. Inlaying a neck requires removing all the frets, cutting the inlays, routing the inlay cavities on the fingerboard, sanding the board and fretting the neck. I can do it, the quesiton is do you REALLY want it done
I'm not usually keen to improve the aesthetics of an instrument but ball park figure is S$300 including inlay materials. What kinda guitar do you have and I only do face dots.
