Most popular drumsticks?

I think Vic Firths are the most popular in SG. Alot of drummers I know use them, and even I have a pair, but I'm not too impressed at how easily chipped they are. I suppose Easton Ahead drumsticks are quite difficult to obtain... Brands like Vater (my fav), Pro-Mark, Zildjian and Vic Firth are very easy to find and very reasonably priced.

Yeah, but they're not the usual sticks... made of aluminum with replaceable tips so you can replace the tips when they wear out instead of replace the entire stick... Quite an ingenious idea, actually, but they never appealed to me.
Locally, few use them I think... but Tommy Lee, Lars Ulrich, they're Ahead users so yeah. Ahead sticks do have a strong appeal to some.

Which is the most Popular SOCKS in sg?
nahh. its totally a matter of preference.
drumsticks like socks are usually good enough,
I haven't noticed any particular brands that are totally horrible, breaks instantly or what.
Though Vic Firth gives me the impression that they give a steady regular quality and standard to their sticks
(some stick companies have sticks of the same model but are of a totally different shape/weight)
Zildjian sticks are appealing to some perhaps because its just more colourful than the average sticks or because many of their favourite artists are using em.
And then again some are just plain ugly/expensive.
So you dont have to follow the flow, use what you like. =)

'Most Popular' isn't a matter of preference... it's the brand that the largest percentage of drummers use.
Rather, 'best' drumsticks is a matter of preference. Like for me, I think Vaters are the best, but most drummers I know prefer Vic Firth.
