i really wonder how long jrock scene will last in singapore.. the last time i was active in such things are when i was still in secondary! omg.. thats quite a long time back... i thought i foresee this trend will die off eventually as people grows up.. but seems like even it seems to die off any moment.. i'm still seeing it.. hmz.. good luck to the month j-rock gig den~ haha.. maybe who noes? i might get myself back to some serious dir en grey music.. and bring out my ddt001 once again.. lol~

Hey I know what can make these events a bit better. This is just my opinion. Why not make these events a celebration of all things Japanese? We're just seeing one side of brilliant japanese culture, which is music. Why not have have some anime shown on the big screen in gashaus. Have them shown before or after the gigs. And try to invite some genuine japanese bands over to perform too. Don't know much about todays j-rock bands but I love garage bands like Teengenerate and Guitar Wolf. If you get these bands in I'm there!

Its a cool idea though i have thought of it last time though, but the big screen sometimes serves as a distraction from the bands playing, *those that played at gashaus should know if they have world cup screened above them when they are playing* not that it is not good, but i rather have the Band's pics and details screened as slide shows above them to provide a better understanding of the band that is playing. As of the combination of J-rock, Anime and maybe Cosplay, there will be an event coming up that harbours all these 3 factors, watch for it! Pssst: I didnt say anything. ^^

bro RR bro, what's the difference? The only things I know about the Japanese culture is the conveyor belt sushi and some AV. Hurhurhur ~

LOL! my thread became jap AV discussion thread? hahahah, oh well i dont mind though LMAO!! Thanks for keeping it active in a way or another, ^^

Bobby: Hehehe thx, but i needa get the details from the bands first, its kinda late now for this gig, maybe next month's gig if i can get a slot ^^ *looks at mark bro* hahahaha! You're the man mark! ^^ Maybe I can submit those "residential" bands stuff first, you know like, Hellven, Gethsemane and of coz my band REI and maybe we can have a small chat on Friday who knows what more great ideas great minds can think of with some beer of coz! HAHAAH U're paying!! bleah!! =P

AY:Nah, i take no offences la, Batty Boy sounds cool LOL!!! Actually i change my siggy alot, usually after i take nice piccies hahaha, me teh UEM!! Universal Ego Man!! bleah!!

RR:Hehehe Thanks!! I'll ask Ate'liar for u, brb with answer! ^^ FYI: btw the Yukata (with lining inside it) cost me only $15 pre set (Yukata + Obi "Sash") when i bought it from an unknown aunty 2 years ago when she was wholesale-ing yukatas for Natsu Matsuri at The Japanese School. Cheap eh??! hahaha sigh too bad the aunty mysteriously vanished as she appeared, i should have bought more!! I only got a male and a female set.
