Monitor Speakers

More important than brand or price is to "learn" the sound of the speakers as it interacts within your room. Listen to reference CDs of mixes you are familiar with. Then practice balancing your mixes and seeing how well they translate to other systems outside the studio.

agree with what studio2105 said. all my mixes are translated on audio technica ATHM30s headphones ($60) simply cos I observe comparing how it plays on other mediums all the time till I got used to it.

Hi Guys, How does the KRK 8 compare with all the models of monitors listed above? Anyone used it before?

Forget the KRK rp series. Start with the vxt series or like others say, the Adams are good.
