i'd love to get my hands on that. ahaha i have a 6 string bass and its pretty chunky to handle, but still pretty comfy. i wanna save for a 7 string conklin one day.

Trying to be smart aleck here... but

What if i custom ordered a bass with 12 strings, tuned (open strings)

B
C
C#
D
D#
E
F
F#
G
G#

And redefine my playing to pluck open strings instead of fretting, unless I want to play a higher octave (fret the 12th) or double/triple stops (play more than 1 open string according to the interval/chord tones, or fret the 12th of those strings as well). Think along the lines of playing a Harp or even piano. But then I'd probably need a caddy to lug that bass around.

But then my 5 strings are way enough for me. 4 is already too many strings to master actually... 8O

Some people say I think too much, they just might be right.

Its fully well possible to play a bass that size if u have huge hands. Look at the Alient Ant Farm Bassist. He plays one of these monsters..
