Jokes aside, so Singaporeans diss people with poor English, but what's with the confusing between good pronounciation with accent? And hypocrites who say "Wahlaoeh the girl ha english so bad sia".

You know my friends says I got an accent cause I say "there" as "there" and not "dare". What the hey...

Common people, it's bad enough to stereotype, but stereotyping wrongly? (Like me having long and my cousin says I'm "emo". I went, "dude, if you wanna say emo, "they have long fringe that covers one eye. My fringe is eyebrow level")

Well, there are pretty people, there are butt ugly people. There are eccentric and queer people, there are your normal everyday Joes.

And there are smart people, and there are stupid people.

I just find it funny that yes, in life you have choices, whether you want to speak properly, or otherwise. As long as you can bring your points across without the ones you are talking to giving you a blank face.

But to say that somebody is speaking with an accent just because he pronounces words PROPERLY, is just plain moronic, IMHO.
