Just wan to ask what kind of microphone is good for recording vocals..Im using rhodes. Its been awhile but uh,i got to get a new one.Budget less than 200?or 150..Hey,the cheaper the better right?..Thank you!
1) yes there are many microphone brands out there that manufactures microphones for vocals recording.
2) Any large diaphragm mic is usually good for vocals.
3) The audiotechnica at2020 is good for your wallet/budget
I loaned my AT2020 to this guy to track vocals himself to pass me to mix. http://www.myspace.com/ingride
Pls do not be misled, the vocal tracks are mixed. personally I feel at $160+/- it's a great all rounder mic not only for vocals. but for guitars/drum overheads etc.

with the budget your are mentioning I highly recommend you checking out the Studio Projects B1. Most bang for the bucks. I have one of those myself..very satisfied
you can get the B1 for 200 + freight from thomann in germany. not sure who is the dealer in in singapore, but if you can find one you can cut the freight...
