Hello everyone , i'm looking for a metronome .

I already have one , but the volume is extremely soft and there's way too little beat .

So i'm looking for one ...

Can listen through headphone ..
Odd time signatures (not sure if there's metronome which have this)
As many tempo as possible (i've seen metronome which have such a large gap between tempo , and it's hard to practice.)

And is there metronome where you can create your own beat ? Like 8th notes in first 4 bars , 16th notes in next 2 bar , triplet in next 6 bar . eg.eg.

Cause i'm lazy to always turn around to change the tempo and time signature.

That's all i ask for .
If possible , please tell me the Place , shop name , and the price of the metronome .

Thanks ALOT .:D

I highly recommend the Boss DB-90. The Yamaha top-of-the-line metronome with silent vibration feature is also very good. Both have the features that you want.

i tot the Boss DB 60 can do the above mentioned features too ? Did abit of research. DB 90 looks too ex to me lol, any other thoughts on this ?

Hi I'll like to jump on the bandwagon too? I have a DB30. I use headphones (i dun tink it provides isolation) and I have problem hearing the click while playing to the band.

The issue here are because my headphones not of isolation nature? Or is it because the DB30 click is way too soft? I hope to be able to play to the click while able to hear my band partially.

You can either get an in-ear monitor or inner-earphones (sony, sennheiser, philips etc)...those seal out external sound pretty well.

Or, in the jamming studio, you can use an audio cable (mini jack at one end for your metronome and RCA:- red & white on the other end) to line your metronome into the CD/Audio input of a spare guitar amp and use it to amplify it for you. Plug in your ear-phone into the amp and it should be loud enough. Or, if you know how to work a mixer well, line into the mixer and create a sub-mix which only the headphones can hear it.

Easiest option though...buy a better metronome...cheapest pro model should be the Tama Rhythm watch...

Will i be able to create odd time signatures or different bars of different rhythm with the Tama Rhythm Watch ? :O

Thats the only limitation of the Rhythm Watch. It can only do fives, sevenths and ninths.

Yes, its $200+.....but what you pay is what you get. I have the 1st generation rhythm watch (more than 10 years now) and it is still working after uncountable drops and knocks....its in Alfe's room now and still running!

Wow, nice

Don't mind me asking if anyone knows where else sells DB-30 other than Swee Lee? Everybody seems to be replying here >_<
