Hi Guys,
I really want to put a Metallica tribute band together.
I'm an decent rock / metal rhythm player and can do some decent rock / metal vocals (as long as we're not tuned higher than Eb).
I'm looking for like-minded musicians to put a Metallica tribute band together.
I'll need Lars, Cliff and Kirk at the least.. and maybe a John Marshall too (stand in guitarist) to get the sound full. If you're a sh*t hot vocalist and really wanna be involved, would love to hear from you too.
I'd be looking at 2-3 rehearsals a month, and maybe one gig ever 2-3 months. Can't be too busy with it due to other commitments, work / real life etc.
Initial thoughts on set list would look something like this:
Set 1
(Ecstasy of gold)
Hit the lights
Creeping Death
Battery
Harvester of sorrow
Memory remains
Fade to black
Sad but true
Of Wolf and man
Four horsemen
Set 2
For whom the bell tolls
Ride the lightning
Fuel
Orion
Master of puppets
Welcome home (sanatorium)
Nothing else matters
One
Seek & destroy
Enter Sandman
I'm in my early 30s and from England.. Been in Singapore for over 5 years. Happy to jam with anyone, age, nationality, smell, gender, size, gravitational pull, political views, favourite colour.. just need that love for recreating that energy & fun Metallica put into their music.
