Metallica in S'pore 1993

Wow, Metallica was here before?? Too bad I was only 4 years old then...

I was there at the concert, lots of police everywhere, there were 2 red riot squad police bus outside, seas of fans in all black attire everywhere and full capacity too.
The sound was real good, it was ear blasting loud but everything can be heard clearly, I was sitting 3 rd from the back of the indoor stadium and u can feel the music pounding at you. The stage were simple but a wall of mini brute lights was behind Lars Urich and u could see him clearly when ever the wall of light , lite up. Jason Newstead was headbanging most of the time and swinging his long hair round and round most of the time , james Hetfield is as usual looking cool and singing .
There were a small pyrotechnic explosion too , my ears was still ringing for an hour after the gig.

wish i was there too! when i had made the "right" decision to go to the concert, the tickets were sold out!!! my brother was there. he kept telling me how great the concert was. and his ear rings (rang???) for 2 days! lots of ppl were not able to get tickets, so they "heard" the concert from outside the indoor stadium. the Ossuary singer was one of them if i'm not wrong! it was even in the papers.
Oh what a magical night!!!
All I remember was that the crowd went nuts all throughout the first song, Enter Sandman, drowning the PA system. And the atmosphere was just pure adrenalin. If I could relive any part of my past, it would be that night. The highlight of my metal youth definitely.
And then of course we all went back to school the next day with sore joints and aching necks. Whiplash!!!!!

i tot metallica kena ban rite? cannot come spore anymore. my uncle went. and recently i found out my gp tutor went too!! he told me the crown was damn wild. pulled out the chairs and all that. hahaha. wish i was there. was ony 5...
