Mesh Head/Mufflers Help

Hey guys. I've just put on both mufflers and mesh heads on my drum set.
Snare, toms, bass.
The problem is.. Its still loud.
I wanted to practice at night due to skl but, from the sound these mufflers and mesh heads make, i dont think its possible.
Is it supposed to be that way and not totally silent?
Or did i do something wrong while installing it. Basically i put them on like how i'd put normal skins.
Guidance, advice and help needed. Pls..

And example from one of my Toms.

Photos, even simple snapshots with a cellphone cam, will help.

Try removing the resos if you haven't. I played a Pearl RT kit with mesh heads and it was pretty silent.

Hey man, I found that the mesh heads don't need too much tension.

Are your drums set up like this?

- Mesh head ALONE
- sponge muffler RESTING on the reso head
- resonant head

Wahh.. One of my first posts!! :D :D :D
I had found my answer a few days after the post.

1. Loosen the tension of the mesh head on the top.
2. Remove everything underneath, reso, muffler etc.

This would make it super quiet to play even at night! :D
Thanks everyone...
