Put genre aside. At least Government take an interest on local music scene.
We do not have local Avex Trax, Sonymusic, Warner..... National Art Council sponsor the Noise Singapore. At least show that government is rethinking about this industry. In Chinese scene, we got Sun Yan Zi. But she was contribute to other country music industry, not ours. That is the lost to our government(taxes), not to say foreign Artist ripping the consumer here( I admit being ripped). Anyway, if MDA can do what Korean Pop scene have done. It will benefit us more. Some of us do not like the way government work thing out, but they are the one that push new industry to work.
